The Peace Leadership Program - 3-year intensive experiential training for leaders committed to co-existence in Israel and Palestine. Group of 22 participants: 11 Israeli Jews and 11 Palestinians & includes settlers, Orthodox Jews, returned Zionists, Palestinians, secularists, mothers, former soldiers, daughters, & grandfathers all living in various areas of Israel & West Bank. The program’s activities take place in both Israel and Palestine. SIPP is supporting the gathering in The West Bank on May 4-10th, 2025. https://radicalaliveness.org/

Community Garden in the Heart of Jaffa - Orchard of Abraham's ChildrenMini-Grant Recipient - 2025

The Community Garden in Jaffa - sustainable education & outreach to Jewish & Arab communities & families. Program teaches human, cultural, & ecological fabric of Jaffa, incl. urban nature tours, pot & seedling preparation activities, herb picking tours, DIY urban agriculture training sessions, & community gatherings. Meetings include joint conversation circle, participants get to know each other's culture through personal stories, spending time together, & meals together. Further, garden & its related educational activities are also integrated into our 10 kindergartens & and elementary school for Jewish-Arab children, their families, & wider communities.https://www.orchardofabrahamschildren.org/

Jewish-Arab Women’s Pop Up Cafe - Freddie Krivine InitiativeMini-Grant Recipient - 2025

Grassroots initiative by two female activists, one Jewish & one Arab. Mission-to create a safe & welcoming space for women of all walks of life to meet & create connections; empowering them to take control of their futures & their communities. The Cafe will host workshops & activities to support leadership development. A pop-up coffee shop initiative will be at the FKI Jewish-Arab Tennis Club in Moshav Beit Hanania, Carmel Coast region. It’s situated between Jewish & Arab communities. Urgent need for this has only grown since October 7th, underscoring the importance of building bridges between communities that rarely, if ever, interact.

Solidarity on the Court and in the Neighborhood - Hapoel Achva HaifaMini-Grant Recipient - 2025

Solidarity on the Court & in the Community continues ongoing programs - soccer club & after-school enrichment programs at community center that engages diverse Arab & Jewish youth in Haifa area. Soccer club practices daily & participates in national games & tournaments. Afterschool enrichment programs offer hobbies or academic tutoring. Gives Arab & Jewish youth space & activities to interact, work together & learn from each other & create a shared community. All initiatives promote mixed Arab-Jewish, people-to-people interaction & shared society, aiming to shape communal relations amongst diverse populations of Haifa-Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims, Ethiopians & Bahai, while accomplishing gains for the mixed soccer team in youth league tournaments.Facebook Page

"Empowering Bedouin Girls: Bridging the Gap to Higher Education & Opportunities." Remote, unrecognized Bedouin village of Abde in southern Israel-young women face significant barriers to education & personal development. Offering a comprehensive language & culture education program focusing on Hebrew Language skills for 12 women aged 18-20. Women are high school grads & are doing national volunteering in village school. This will build on previous year's success, to provide these women with linguistic & social tools essential for integration into Israeli society, pursuit of higher education, & access to broader job opportunities. Program is crucial in current crisis, as language proficiency will be key factor in these women's ability to navigate social, academic, & professional spheres.

Connecting Through Arts - ChallengeMini-Grant Recipient - 2025

Connecting Through Arts engages Israeli & Palestinian children in an educational program, taught & facilitated by Israeli & Palestinian civic-actors, also local residents. CTA creates bridges between communities. Environmental issues are the common theme of topical focuses used in the children’s education, engaging them in direct action to improve local ecology & gain awareness of environmental issues. https://challenge.org.il/

Medabrot Ivrit, Women Speaking Hebrew Teacher Training B2 and C1 Level - LissanMini-Grant Recipient - 2025

Medabrot Ivrit - Women Speaking Hebrew aims to remove the language barrier experienced by East Jerusalemite Palestinian women daily by providing practical, relevant, and culturally fit Hebrew language courses. Outcome: increase participants’ confidence and independence in public and private spheres. Over project’s 11-years, Lissan has developed textbooks & teaching materials that are culturally & politically sensitive & respond to the daily linguistic needs of participants. This year, launching a new program for Levels B2 and C1 which combines the “Can Do” approach to language learning with digital literacy skills and accessing rights, it will help students to further navigate the public domain in Jerusalem. https://www.lissan.org/?lang=en
